For the past 20 years Abigail has been running workshops in up-cycling in a number of settings, both here in the UK and abroad. 

Alongside running workshops she has completed a degree in fashion, concentrating on sustainable making and designing methods.  This was followed by an MA in Entrepreneurship in Creative Practise, where Mukta was founded.

Mukta started out as a small scale fashion label producing panelled upcycled jumpers, and throughout the past 3 years has developed into a multi-faceted project which covers many areas contributing to a slower fashion industry. 

Currently Abigail is working with Mend Assembly offering a repairs and alterations service to industry brands, and creating small production runs for other local businesses.
